11/26/25 Wed (OR 01/19/26 Mon) - CLE Aquarium High School Career Day (9am - 12pm)
***Update 9/2/25:
If anyone else wants to step in and schedule this, please let me know! I am experiencing some health issues and at this time am unsure if I can follow through with this field trip. I don’t want anyone to buy a $35 ticket and me not be able to drive the kids.

Gauging interest in this field trip for high school students entering grades 9-12:
Please respond asap if interested. There are currently 13 spots (for 11/26/25) and 15 spots (for 01/19/26) available for this program, but I'm sure they will go fast. $35 per student ($25 if your family has a current pass.)
This could be a dropoff program, basically, or you could choose to purchase a regular ticket and tour the aquarium (or those of you with passes could just stay). We do not have a family pass. Maybe the moms could go get coffee together, not sure what options there are down there anymore.
I'm also happy to drive other teens there along with my son Joshua (16) - we can fit 5-6 others. Let me know your thoughts!
**I just added the 11/26/25 date after realizing Joshua doesn't have any of his usual classes that day. This is probably a better date for us (I may be having surgery in January.) It is the day before Thanksgiving, but that works for us, and for you moms who have a million things to do that morning I could drive them so you could have that time for yourself!

AQUARIUM CAREER QUEST
Dive into the world of aquatic careers at our High School Career Day at the Aquarium! Students meet a variety of aquarium professionals—from aquarists to educators and guest experience staff—who share their career journeys, educational paths and tips on building resumes and preparing for college. This is a unique opportunity to explore the many roles that keep an aquarium thriving and to ask questions about what it takes to work in this exciting field.
The day features hands-on, interactive experiences including feeding stingrays, playing Aquarium Jeopardy, taking a biodiversity tour and watching an animal enrichment demonstration. Whether you’re passionate about marine life, curious about science careers or just love the ocean, this event offers inspiration, insight and fun for every student.
This program is recommended for students entering grades 9-12. If you are a middle school student interested in career programs, look here. Parents and siblings are welcome to purchase regular admission tickets for the same day, and are invited to self-tour the Aquarium galleries during the program.

I need to check with the boys but sounds fun!
