Events & Field Trips

Hi everyone! I'm the librarian at the Buckeye branch library (come say hi!) and I am trying out a monthly program geared toward homeschool students in the 1-3 grade range area, starting in October. The first on Tues., Oct. 3rd at 1pm is a Space theme to coincide with timing for the annular eclipse on the 14th. The second on Tues. Nov. 14th at 1pm is a Cardboard Carnival where we will put our spatial awareness, problem solving, and teamwork skills to the test! The events will be open for registration on 8/15, at mcdl.info/events. (Also I will get everyone out of there before our afterschool crowd comes along 😉)

Myself and another staff member at Buckeye are both homeschool moms and we are happy to chat anytime and get inspired for more ways to bring the homeschool community together. Let me know if there's any questions and I'll get these on the events spreadsheet!
