Passing along an email I received regarding a Homeschool Family Meet-Up....

Hello!

My name is Sloane. I'm an Educator at Akron Art Museum.  I’m reaching out to you today with an invitation to join us for a Homeschool Family Meet-Up at Akron Art Museum on Saturday, August 11, 2024 from 11-2pm.

During the event, families will meet with artists providing hands-on instruction for needle felting, clay sculpting, weaving, and computer animation. Parents and guardians will learn how to incorporate the National Visual Arts Standards into their own educational practices. Explore the galleries with our amazing team of Gallery Teachers providing tours at the top of every hour and connect with other Homeschool groups in the area.
