Akron Fossils and Science Center -Update included
Update: due to the weather we are rescheduling. Currently looking at March 18 @ 10:30 am.
Hello!
Would anyone be interested in a trip to the Akron Fossils and Science Center?
During the winter they are open to the public on Saturdays ($10/person), but they will do groups through the week. Groups are 15+ people and $8/person.
Thursdays and Fridays, I was informed, are already staffed for groups but they are able to do Tuesdays and Wednesdays as well.
There are guided tours where the kids can touch fossils and even animals and make a fossil replica. There is a creation education museum and outdoor park area as well. (Zip line is closed in the winter)
No masks are required at this time.
They typically start groups at 10, 10:30, or 11 and say groups typically take 2.5-4 hours; and most groups bring packed lunches. I was thinking 10 so that any naps that need to happen wouldn’t be too late ;)
1) Are you interested and for how many people?
2) what days might work best for you. They book 2 weeks out so we would be looking in February. 3rd or 4th? Others?
3) Any questions? I already realized I forgot to ask if we pay full price for the little ones.
