Rescheduled Saxton-McKinley House Tour
I am rescheduling the Saxton McKinley House Tour (due to several illnesses) home to the National First Ladies' Library, located at 331 Market Ave. S., Canton. (Remember to Like or Follow this post.)
Time: 10:00 - 11:00 a.m.
Tour Information:
First Families Are Families First: A Kid Sized Tour of the Saxton-McKinley House (This tour is intended for a multi-age audience.)
What was it like to live in Canton during the Victorian era? Travel back in time to the mid-to-late 1800’s and explore what life was like for the kids growing up in the Saxton-McKinley house. What games did children play before there were videogames? What did they eat and where did they go to the bathroom? Students will play games, draw pictures, and experience music as they learn about Ida McKinley and her family and explore the home on this interactive tour.
The cost for the tour is $5 for students and $7 for adults.
