Events & Field Trips

Since it looks like our weather is cooling down rapidly, I thought we might try squeezing in this trip before it gets too cold. This is always such a fun time! *** Edited on 9/29/20 to add: Weather looks good next Tuesday, and I believe some of you said you'd be able to go that day, so let's go then: Tuesday, October 6th - This is one of their Homeschool Days - fee will be $10 per person ages 3+.

Date: Tuesday, October 6th, 2020 Start time: 10:00 am (they open doors at 9:30am) - let's meet-up at 11:00am and shoot for doing the 11:30 hayride together* Place: Ramseyer Farms, Wooster Info: https://ramseyerfarms.com/field-trips/ Cost: $10 per person ages 3+. Includes picking a small pumpkin per person during the Farm Tour hayride. Also includes the Ohio maze, should you wish to do that. Bring masks for inside the barn and on the hayride. You may bring a bag for the small pumpkins (they are usually muddy) if you wish. Also, definitely bring a lunch, as they don't have much food available. (You can purchase drinks, and hot dogs and smores kits to cook over their fire.) Lastly, bring some quarters for goat food! They open at 9:30am and groups can participate in the educational activities between 10:00am and 2:00pm. All of their other 50+ activities remain open until 7:00pm Hope you can join us!

* If you want to get together and do activities as a group, let's all meet at 11:00 near the fire ring outside the barn, with the goal of getting in line *early* for the 11:30am hayride. Or if you get there later, text me at (440) 785-6530 to find us. I'd like to try and all go on one of the scheduled hayrides together as a group - they do their "educational" portion, and stop in the pumpkin patch, during the hayride.
