Driving class
I have been asked several times about where Adam took his driving courses, so I thought I would share here for others as well.
He took the class portion online with Aceable ($49). Link: www.aceable.com.
He took the driving portion with Myers Driving School in Medina, Ohio. Because he was a homeschooler, his schedule was more flexible, so he didn't have to wait more than one or two weeks. The cost was around $260.
Fun times ahead for those of you who will soon have teen drivers. 😀

I also wanted to add some information about the Take Control Driving program. Once your child is 16 and has a license, you may want them to take this free driving program. The program is offered the third Saturday of each month at Northside Christian Church in Wadsworth. Some of the things your child will learn include:
Skid recovery
Collision avoidance
Emergency braking
Vehicle pivot points in forward and reverse
Shuffle recovery
The relationship between eye positioning and driving
