High School & Middle School

Lee Binz from the HomeScholar, advises that parents keep a list of books their high school student uses during their high school years.

I have been doing this all along for my oldest child, and today we learned that the college he plans to attend, the University of Akron, does request a book list.

If your high school student is using an online class, I would think that they wouldn't ask for a list of books, however, I would probably print out the scope and sequence (if available) for each class, and keep it for my records.

If you haven't started a book list for your high school student yet, you may want to begin doing so. I will post a sample image of my spreadsheet as an example in a different post.
